How To Remove Rear Door Handle On 2009 Ford Focus

How to remove rear door handle on 2009 ford focus.

Pry off the trim panel inside the door handle. Pry off the window switch panel by hand. Unplug the wiring harness from the lock switch. Remove the two 7mm bolts from inside the door pull.

Pry off the trim piece inside the door handle with a flat blade screwdriver remove the six t20 torx screws from around the door panel remove the t20 torx screw inside the door handle pry off the door handle bezel. I m trying to fix my drier side door handle on 2009 ford focus. Remove the six t20 torx bolts from the door panel perimiter. Remove the door panel.

Pry off the door pull trim with a flat blade screwdriver. If you pull the handle and the door doesn t open or the handle feels. Removing the outer handle once the door s trim panel is removed remove the side impact bolster by rotating it counterclockwise to free it from its retaining clips. Disconnect the window switch wiring harnesses.

Remove the t20 torx screws securing the door panel. Now remove all the screws along the outer edge of the trim panel lift the panel off the door and turn it upwards at the rear to completely remove it. Just a new handle or do i need to replace the whole in. Uninstall the door latch and disconnect it from the door latch rod.

Remove the outside door handle by prying gently with a flathead screwdriver to loosen and then slide it back. Remove the t2 torx bolt inside the door handle.
